Can I connect an IEC C14 plug-input PDU to a UPS?

Yes, provided the UPS has a suitable IEC C13 output and the connected load remains within the ratings of the UPS, PDU and cabling.

This is one of the particularly useful applications for the IECP models: the captive C14 plug can connect directly to a compatible UPS output, allowing the PDU to distribute UPS-backed power to several devices without first converting the supply to a UK socket.
