Will the Cat6 outlet run at Gigabit speed?
Yes. Gigabit Ethernet is comfortably within a correctly installed Cat6 channel.
If a link is only negotiating at 100Mbps, the Cat6 marking on the outlet is unlikely to be the interesting part; the cable, terminations and connected equipment are where the trail usually leads.
