Can equipment rails or sliding-rail kits use the adjustable rear profiles?

Potentially, yes.

The cabinets provide adjustable front and rear mounting profiles, but a particular rail kit must still be checked for its required front-to-rear spacing, mounting-hole arrangement, cabinet clearance and other installation requirements specified by the equipment manufacturer.

The presence of rear profiles does not guarantee compatibility with every proprietary server or UPS rail system.
