How much free space should I leave above the roof fan opening?
Leave sufficient unobstructed space above the fan opening to allow exhaust air to leave freely.
We do not currently specify a universal minimum clearance in millimetres.
Avoid positioning a ceiling, shelf, cupboard panel or other obstruction immediately above the fan where it would materially restrict airflow.
