How much room should I allow behind the panel?
Allow at least 50mm behind the frame as a sensible planning minimum, then check the actual keystone and cable arrangement.
A deep coupler, a stiff patch plug or a tight cable bend can require more space; 50mm is clearance guidance, not a maximum module depth.
