What actually has to be assembled on a flat-packed cabinet?

Pretty much the whole cabinet.

You build the cabinet structure, fit the mounting profiles, locks, side panels, front door, cable-entry covers and the other supplied parts.

Keep the fixings organised and follow the instruction sheet.
