What does LSZH mean?

LSZH means Low Smoke Zero Halogen. In this range it describes the sheath used on the indoor cable products and is intended to reduce smoke and corrosive halogen gas compared with conventional halogen-containing sheath materials when the cable is exposed to fire.

LSZH is a material/fire-behaviour description; it does not by itself tell you the cable's complete CPR reaction-to-fire class. That is why the violet Eca and green Cca cables can both be LSZH while carrying different CPR classifications.
