What is the difference between the Eca and Cca versions?
Eca and Cca are different CPR reaction-to-fire classifications. The violet indoor products in the current range are Eca, while the green indoor products are Cca with additional smoke, droplet and acidity classifications.
The Cca products provide the higher reaction-to-fire classification. Cable selection must follow the requirements of the building, project specification and applicable cabling standards rather than being based on sheath colour alone.
