Will repeated movement through the brush damage a normal patch-lead jacket?

We have not seen normal movement through the brush mark or abrade ordinary PVC patch-lead jackets.

The bristles offer only light resistance.

As with any cable route, avoid dragging a dirty or damaged cable back and forth unnecessarily.
