Can I move the front mounting profiles backwards to create more room in front of the equipment?

Yes.

The front mounting profiles can be moved further into the cabinet where additional clearance is required between the equipment and the closed front door.

The rear profiles are independently adjustable.

Moving the equipment rearwards increases front clearance while reducing the space available behind it by approximately the same amount.
