Can I terminate shielded Ethernet cable onto this module?
The copper conductors may be physically terminable if they are within the supported 22–26AWG range, but the module itself is unshielded and provides no termination or bonding point for the cable screen.
So it should not be used where you intend to maintain a properly shielded channel from end to end. In that case, use connecting hardware designed to continue the screen rather than leaving the shielding to expire quietly behind the faceplate.
