Can the external lead carry PoE to an outdoor camera or access point?

The external lead uses the same basic Cat6 construction, and the positive PoE claim applies to external variants up to 30m as well.

Protect the RJ45 connection from the weather and make sure the complete PoE channel is suitable for the device.
