How should I terminate installation cable?
Normally onto IDC terminals in a compatible patch panel, data module, outlet or punchdown coupler. Keep the cable jacket close to the termination, keep the pair twists intact until close to their contact positions, then punch the conductors down with the correct tool for the hardware.
