What minimum bend radius should I allow while installing the cable?
The current product data specifies a minimum installation bend radius of 8 times the cable outside diameter.
That corresponds to approximately 40mm for the 5.0mm Cat5e cables, 47.2mm for the 5.9mm Cat6 Eca cable and 49.6mm for the 6.2mm Cat6 Cca and external cables. These are installation bend-radius figures, not permission to force the finished cable around a sharp corner once it has been terminated.
