Is it better to mount a PDU at the front or rear of the cabinet?
Whichever position gives you the cleaner and more practical power arrangement.
A front-mounted PDU is easy to see and access. Rear mounting can keep mains plugs and power leads away from the front of the equipment and leave the presentation side of the cabinet tidier.
Our adjustable rear profiles can support a suitable horizontal PDU where the layout permits it.
Just plan the rear of the rack as deliberately as the front. Moving the PDU out of sight doesn’t cause its plugs and cables to become two-dimensional.
