What is the transparent front door made from?

The front door uses safety tempered glass.

Tempered glass is designed to break into many comparatively small pieces rather than the large sharp shards associated with ordinary glass.

On the 19-inch cabinets, the glass has steel sections at the left and right sides rather than a conventional steel frame surrounding all four edges.
