Will the faceplate screw onto a standard UK backbox?

Yes. The 1- and 2-way faceplates use standard single-gang fixing centres of approximately 60.3mm; the 3- and 4-way versions use the corresponding double-gang format.

The backbox still needs enough depth for the module and cable.
