Can I install the cabinet in a corner or close against another wall?
Yes, but leave enough room for the parts you actually intend to use.
The front door can open beyond 180 degrees in free space, but a nearby wall may stop it much sooner. Side-panel removal needs lateral clearance as well, and cable entry, ventilation and maintenance access still have to be considered.
A cabinet can physically fit into an extraordinarily precise rectangular gap and still be almost impossible to work on afterwards.
If one side is hard against a wall, it’s sensible to regard that side panel as unavailable until the cabinet moves again. That may be perfectly acceptable — just make it a decision rather than a surprise.
