Yes, provided the outlet, module or patch panel is suitable for the cable category and conductor size. This is exactly the sort of cable that is normally punched down onto IDC terminations.

Match Cat5e with suitable Cat5e-or-better hardware and Cat6 with Cat6 hardware if you want the finished link to be a Cat6 installation.
