How should I support the incoming cables behind the patch panel?

Support the incoming cable bundle so its weight is not hanging from the IDC contacts. Use the supplied ties, the built-in hooks where fitted, or proper rack management.

Do not force the cable through tight bends just to make the rear of the rack look flat.
