How thick is the cable?
The Cat5e products are approximately 5.0mm overall diameter with a ±0.2mm tolerance. The Cat6 Eca LSZH cable is approximately 5.9mm ±0.2mm. The Cat6 Cca LSZH and Cat6 external PE cables are approximately 6.2mm ±0.3mm.
Allow for the actual cable diameter when choosing modules, glands, conduit and trunking, and remember that a bundle of twenty cables is not simply one cable multiplied by twenty in a perfectly obedient straight line.
